Everyone knows Syracuse for having a legendary #44 in their backfield, but Sean Tucker made #34 a number to remember. With a blend of football and track in his background, both Head Coach Dino Babers and Running Backs Coach Mike Lynch knew he’d be something special. People at Tucker’s size aren’t meant to move like that, but he did and he ran his way into breaking Joe Morris’ single season rushing record. Not only did Tucker set a new benchmark for future Orange running backs, but he also grew the Syracuse brand through his use of Twitter. His famous postgame tweets began in 10th grade and his, as well as Syracuse’s brand only grew while he wore an Orange uniform.

“The sky is the limit with him. He’s the type of guy that you better not set a bar because if you do you’re going to have to set another bar.” – Dino Babers, Syracuse Head Football Coach.
